  • Facilitates connections between borrowers and lenders

Important Compliance Information

This Is Not a Mortgage

AgLoans does not facilitate residential mortgages. These are agricultural real estate loans for farming operations—not residential properties or consumer loans. Federal consumer-mortgage rules such as RESPA and TILA generally don't apply to credit that is primarily for a business or agricultural purpose. Whether they apply depends on the purpose and details of your loan, so ask your lender which rules apply.

No Rate Quotes

AgLoans cannot quote specific interest rates, as rates vary by lender, market conditions, and your specific creditworthiness. The lender sets the rate and terms when it reviews your formal application.

No Guarantee of Approval

Prequalification is not approval. A preliminary review means your request may fit basic criteria, but formal underwriting determines whether you actually qualify. Many factors reviewed in detail underwriting could affect final approval.

Your Information

Privacy and Disclosure

When you complete AgLoans' prequalification form, you authorize us to collect information about your operation and finances and share that information with lenders. The prequalification form does not pull your credit or run a background check. A credit check comes later in the process, and only after you check the box that authorizes it. Your information is handled confidentially and shared only with lenders for underwriting purposes.

Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide. Misrepresenting information could result in loan denial, constitute fraud, result in legal consequences, or lead to loan recall if discovered after closing.

No Professional Advice

AgLoans' educational content is not legal advice, tax advice, financial advice, investment advice, or professional recommendations. Always consult with appropriate professionals regarding your specific situation.

  • Consult with your lender about loan terms
  • Speak with an accountant about tax implications
  • Speak with a lawyer about legal implications
  • Consult a financial advisor about overall financial strategy
